Can I assign appointments to a specific clinic?
Yes. When creating a new appointment, you select both the clinic and the appointment type as part of the booking process. This ensures the appointment is scheduled in the correct location.
Appointments are always associated with a clinic, which helps with:
Accurate scheduling - Ensures the right clinic, rooms and resources are considered.
Clear visibility - Appointments appear on the correct clinic calendars and views.
Reporting and finance - Clinic selection feeds into reporting, invoicing and performance insights.
Any appointment type can be booked into any clinic, provided the user has access to that clinic and the required resources are available. If your organisation uses clinic specific resources HearLink will check availability before confirming the booking.
If you need to make changes later, the clinic assigned to an appointment can be updated by editing the appointment details (subject to permissions).
