Why can't I access certain clinics or features?

Access to clinics and similar features in HearLink is controlled by Groups and permissions set by your organisation owner.  


Common scenarios:

Can't see a specific clinic in the calendar:

  • You may not be assigned to that clinic in your user profile.


Can't access Organisation Settings:

  • Only users in Groups with certain admin permissions can access organisation level settings.
  • Check with your organisation owner if you need access.


Can't create/edit certain records (appointments, invoices etc):

  • Your Group permissions may be set to "view only" for that module.
  • Some action (like deleting patients or creating API keys) require extra permissions.


Missing menu items or sections:

  • Menu items only appear if you have permission to access them.
  • If you don't see a section (like "Reporting" or "Marketing"), your Group doesn't ahve access to that module.


Tip:  If your view seems limited, check with your administrator or organisation owner to confirm your Group permissions.
